Sofia Sofiez (Santiago, 1990) is an architect and visual artist based in Berlin. After graduating and working in urban design for three years, she left architecture to pursue art. Self-taught in painting and audiovisual design, Sofiez explores pop culture and memes in her work.
Since her first exhibition at ‘Expo Mala’ in 2018, she has transformed viral phenomena into art, using her experience in urban design and research in audiovisual art to enrich her approach. Her move to Germany in 2019 deepened her interest in identity and global culture.
Sofiez’s work combines humor with social critique, addressing how digital culture directly and contemporarily influences our view of the world. She has participated in art markets such as Berlin Affordable Art Market and collective exhibitions like Pandora Gallery. Currently, she is preparing a dual exhibition featuring 50 paintings created over the past two years, accompanied by their respective digital references.

Sofia Sofiez (Santiago, 1990) es arquitecta y artista visual en Berlín. Después de graduarse y trabajar en diseño urbano durante tres años, dejó la arquitectura para dedicarse al arte. Autodidacta en pintura y diseño audiovisual, Sofiez explora la cultura pop y los memes en sus obras.
